Hubb Leicestershire CIC

A Home for Faith, Family & Community

Nurturing children, supporting families, and strengthening community through faith-centred activities.

Our Story

Hubb Leicestershire is a community-focused organisation rooted in faith, family and connection.

We exist to create welcoming spaces where children, parents and families can grow — spiritually, socially and emotionally — through meaningful, faith-centred activities that support holistic development.

From youth programmes and family gatherings to wellbeing sessions and community initiatives, everything we do is guided by a simple belief: strong families build strong communities.

At Hubb, we’re not just running activities — we’re nurturing belonging, purpose and connection for today’s families and future generations.

Serving families across Leicestershire.

TrailBlazers:Home Ed

  • TrailBlazers is built on the belief that learning should be meaningful, nurturing, and rooted in real life.
We support home-educating families through gentle structure, shared experiences, and hands-on learning that nurtures the mind, body, and soul.

    Our sessions prioritise:

    • Curiosity over pressure

    • Connection over comparison

    • Faith, character, and confidence alongside learning

Children learn best when they feel safe, seen, and inspired — and that’s the environment we aim to create.

  • TrailBlazers is led by our Home Ed Leads, Sister Sarah and Sister Zaahira, alongside a growing group of wonderful parents who co-lead, co-produce, and actively shape the programme.

This is not a top-down model — it’s a collective effort, where parents:

    • Share skills and ideas

    • Support one another

    • Help design and deliver sessions

    • Build a strong, values-driven learning community

We believe home education thrives best when families learn together.

  • TrailBlazers was created in response to a growing need for faith-aligned, community-based home education support in South Leicestershire.

What began as informal meet-ups has grown into a structured, nurturing space for families seeking:

    • Connection

    • Consistency

    • Purposeful learning

We’re always happy to welcome parents who want to:

    • Get involved

    • Support sessions

    • Share expertise

    • Help shape the future of TrailBlazers
